Dying Dash
Hello,
Doing the body work to repaint my car when I realized that I really didn't have all that many color choices.... Seems as though with a red interior all that really matches is red. Anyway, I was considering the possibliity of dying my dash and a few other parts black. Is this a bad idea? Whats the most effective way to change the color of your interior? Do I need to change the dash or is their some sort of way I can effectively change the color using some sort of special product? I've painted Dash's before and it always seems to look tacky,... especially when it chips off over time!

i know my dads dyed a ton of interior pieces on my vette. i think my dash pad was originaly green, and the passenger side map holder was baby blue if i remember correctly.
they look great, you could never tell they were ever another color. even 20 years later after he did it.
