Default windshield washer not working

trying to get my '72 through provincial inspection. windshield washer does not work. have a wiring diagram, and see that there are supposed to be 2 wires , yellow and dk blue going to the washer pump. I see the 2 wires are NOT connected to anything near the wiper motor, but can't for the life of me see anywhere where these wires are supposed to connect. I can also see by the copper windings on the washer motor, it looks like a tab of some sort has broken off. Is this where these wires are supposed to connect? If anyone has a diagram of this, would be a great help.
Thanks alot.

Yes I believe that is where your wires should go. Anyone else that can confirm this?

Sorry I don't have a diagram but you are on the right track. The connections for the wires come straight off the front. Mine are broke too.
