Default reglueing t-top trim

i took the trim off before i stripped my car. now what do i use to reattach it ? are the screws and rivits enough to hold it or do i need something like the glue that was originaly in there?

Need the glue all the way around to seal. 3M weatherstripping adhesive is the stuff you need. Comes in black & yellow as I recall. I think yellow was factory original if you care, but that is not as easy to find as the black.

i'm talking about the stainless steel trim.

Use something like 3m caulk strip..if not you will have a nasty water leak for sure.

thanks, at first i couldn't figure out why i should be sealing it, but i just looked at them and saw how they mounted. (have had the car apart way too long)
