California winter
We head for the desert....this is Borrego Springs,Ca last Febuary....
We drove thru some heavy thunder showers on the way there...

Yellow flowers ?? Not for me, thankyou. Snow is much more fun.

I was just down at Mammoth lakes California where my daughter lives and the snow is getting deeper. It also helps when your house is at 7600 feet and the mountians are over 10,000

Those are some great shots, rihwoods! Reminds me of when the ocotillo plants are blooming; it's the neatest thing to see! Looks like everything's dry and dead but these flowers are all over the scrub brush.
