It's for a 1975 Small Block
They say in the Ecklers Catalog it's
mounted on the drivers side firewall.

Here you go:

http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...dept%5Fid=1107

That's where all the underhood positive/hot (+) cable leads attach. I tapped into it to run my electric fan.

Starter or alternator? I believe there is one wire from the alternator and one wire from the starter. Not 100% sure, though...I don't have my car and/or wiring diagram in front of me.

On the 82 it's in the drivers side battery box, next to the battery (remove the tray)...isn't it there on the 75 also???

Are you sure it's not there? In the battery box, on the outside/wheel side of the box, next to the battery. It's hard to spot ..might want to trace the wires and feel in there..depending on year some things hook up there but the alternator charge wire should be one of them.

no, it's inside the car, open the rear storage compartment lid and remove the tray to expose the battery, the battery is sitting in the fiberglass rear floor part, the battery box. Now look on the wheel side of the box, not the driveshaft side....the junctionblock should be there..damn how to explain properly...here look at this pic, see where i drilled the 2 holes? Then over to the right, the side that isn't visible in the pic..that's where it should be

On my '74, it is located on the driver's side (inner)fender, under the hood, tucked away next to/behind the windshield washer bottle. It is fairly high up on the inner fender, underneath the fender "overhang" (for the lack of a better word). If you are casually looking for it, you will not see it. You have to have a flashlight or shoplight. It is almost equidistant between the front of the car and the firewall. Follow the bundle of wires coming from the headlights and you'll run right into it.*

*I'm assuming '75 is the same as '74...

If "Bubba" has worked on your car previously, this part may have been removed and replaced with splice connector's or, in true Bubba fashion, a wad of electrical tape.

place? Your picture is different then the 75.
Again thanks for you time and help.

It's not in the battery box in a '75. See my post above.
