You are roofing a 24 x 60 heated garage. I don't feel bad for you. I was trying to warm my garage up today using a portable heater so that I could do some frame painting and the circuit breaker blew before the garage even got to 50 degrees.

You're building a big garage. No one feels for you unless they have a bigger garage

I feel bad for you. Roofing is still roofing. You will enjoy your garage. I just built a 24 x 28 (the biggest the county would let me build for my lot size) garage this summer. I just desided yesterday that I need to insulate it, it is kind of hard to heat when it is 15 deg. outside. BTW no one will feel sorry for you next winter, when it is done.

Earlier today I stopped by Starbucks for a COLD drink, plugged in the Beach Boys, and cruised out toward the desert. After spending all those years in IN,IL, WI and MN I can relate.

No, I had to roof when it was in the 90's. Damn shingles kept sticking together. I'd rather roof in the cold than in the heat.

Now that I think about it, it was in the upper 90's when i roofed my garage. I don't feel sorry for you any more.

Not yet, but I will feel bad for you when you get your first heating bill! I just had my oil tank filled and it cost $450! Needless to say my garage heat is turned waaaaaay down!
