Default I need a source for a 68 turn signal switch

Mine is beyond repair. A reproduction would be fine if I could find one.

This is a tough item. See this previous thread for one possible solution. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...um_id=3&arch=1

See that thread.
I went the "trained monkey" route. Cheaper and easier to find.
BTW, the pic of the 68 Firebird switch looks identical. Year One had them for $60.

I don't remember where I got mine but it was most likely from one of these:

www.corvettepacifica.com They have a lot of '68 parts
Ecklers
Paragon has a lot of NOS parts.

I just went to the Dr. Rebuild websight - he shows a 67-68 Directional Switch - Std & Tele #2895106. It was $48.95 a couple years ago. He has big disclaimers that the websight hosts his 1999 catalogue. So you will have to call him 1-800-866-9362 to find its real price and availability.

My 2003 Paragon Reproductions Inc catalogue shows a 1967-68 Turn Signal Switch - All #5361 $60.00. They can be reached at 1-800-882-4688.

From those two suppliers it appears that the same switch services both the standard (non-adjustable) column and the telescoping column.

Otherwise, I don't know about interchangeability on switches between other GM vehicles during that time frame.

Also, I can't find the switch at any of the Forum sponsors.

Jim
