Default clock rebuild

By looking at these pics can anyone tell me if this clock is rebuildable with the quartz movement kit that I bought?

not just any rebuild kit will work...if you have the right kit for your year clock then it will work

What year clock do you have, and which movement did you buy? (Slightly different gears for different years).....

Old clock is out of my '69 vert, kit I received is from Corvette Central, part#222009, Quartz clock conversion 63-82. The odd thing is that the instructions show a square face clock. Are there any square clocks isn 'Vettes, and if so, what year did they start? Also this kit is specificly for a Borg clock. Which is what I thought I had. The kit is made by Instrument services Inc.

This kit should work. I rebuilt my '69 using this kit. It shows a square face because other GM clocks (Buick, Pontiac, etc.) with square faces use the same kit. Two different small gears may be included in your kit. One is for '71 and later clocks for accurate time calibration. Both will fit in your clock, however, so use the correct one. (Just match the one you take out.)

Probably because when you log in and click on the C3 general discussion it throws you into the Tech/perf section. Never been the same since they were split. Cut him a little slack.

sorry,
I thought this item might fall under the tech. part of this forum. Didn't really get a operators manual with my $25.00 membership.

Default Done!

After I was sure I had the right kit, I installed it, and it's working fine. Thank you all for the input

How difficult was the conversion? Did you buy the entire clock, or was it a rebuild kit.

I have a 72 and a 73 and the clocks do not work in either one.
