Is the windshield in a 1973 Coupe the same as an 81 Coupe?

I don't think so ... they differ on the bottom edge I believe.
You might be able to swap them by exchanging other parts, too.
... not sure if the wiper arms differ.

They are different. Different shading on lower edge, glass is shaped different on lower edge.

The reason I ask is I need to replace my windshield soon and there is a shop that can custom make one by using my glass as a template but it takes a week and I am not keen to leave it without for that long. Now there is a 73 windshield I can use as a pattern and if it was the same that saves me from the week or so wait. Also if the screw up and my shield is damaged I am SOL .
