Squeeeeaking!!

Last week my 69 developed some loud squeaking coming from the front right wheel. The wheel bearings look like they have plenty of grease... It's odd because the noise only occurs when I'm in gear and accelerating. Any tips on what I should check out?

Possibly one of your fan belts is slipping?

squeaking or squealing ? Belts tend to squeal on aceeleration...squeeking can be intermittant...or screeching...

haha. well.. i think it's best described as a squeak that isnt constant... it's a pulsing squeak that increases with frequency as i accelerate around 20 mph but goes away at higher speeds

Only thing I can think of is brake pads or wheel bearing...jack up vette,and check for play in wheel...grab tire ay 12 and 6 o'clock and try to move it back/forth...towards you and vette....
