Default dusting in STL

We got a dusting of snow just last night. Only stuck to the streets and roofs of well insulated houses.

hey Z-man,

I'll bet you didn't have a 15-20 ft. storm surge to go with those winds. Can you lean into the wind and tread water at the same time?

We got about an inch or so Saturday night in the Harrisburg,Pa area. We were suppose to get 3-5" last night. When they call for that amount we usally get nothing or 12". We got nothing. Early December is normally warm enough so that we get rain and not snow. The cold temperatures and short days get a little depressing. Looking forward to when spring get here.

Default Snow

Hey,get over it! Vettes were mad to drive. Don't give up just because it snows! I'm from D.C. (now in sunny Fl.), and when I was young and had just bought my 427/425 1966 vert, (which I still have...sort of), I use to go out to the shopping malls when they were closed due to the snow and ice and slide all thru their lots! Had a blast and it also taught me car control which later led to great autocrossing skills. Of course I throughly sprayed the underside when I got home to rinse off the salt and grunge, but never quit driving my car, sun or snow. If we get so caught up in their preceived values that we are affraid to enjoy them, then we lose. Just my .02

Actually, near the water there were huge waves: 15 -20 ft just like down at the beach. The difference is that the wind is only 10 or so degrees. Several people who were outside at the time died...

Yeah - just showed my oldest how to use the snowblower last storm ...
plus I have to pay him to get out there and do it.

Without the cold (and hot elsewhere), you wouldn't enjoy the perfect
days as much.
I'm thankful that the bugs and mud are gone until March/April.

Yep -5 this morning, a good 6 inches of snow on the ground. Some years, 30 degrees feels warm after weeks of sub zero.

At least these fulie cars start when it's below zero...

Ouch. That's tough. The wind here is warmer, but we just spend three days on the freeway going nowhere.
