FAQ's or Write-Ups on Engine-2-Auto Mating?
So I have been trying to not ask this question but I am getting frustrated. There is plenty of information on engines and plenty on transmissions (specifically the TH400) but what I really need now is a "how does a TH400 mate to my small block for dummies". Preferably something with a lot of pics and step by step removal and installation.
Anybody have any ideas where I can find something?

6 bolts and 2 dowel pins
after the flexplate and tq convertor are in place, swing the engine in place, line up the two dowel pins on the block to the holes in the transmission bellhousing. then run one of the 6 bolts in at a time, to get em started. when it's bolted in, the fun part begins (bolting up the motor mounts)

- engine to flexplate (I am assuming bolted on pre assemly to trans)
- flexplate to torque converter
- torque converter to transmisson
BTW - Did you see my other e-mail? Sent out the steering box and mirror todya.
