redC3, how could you be a C3 corvette enthusiast and be unaware that the 1970 corvette was not available with the LS6? Your criticism of the 1970 Chevelle is bizarre. I agree that 1969 was Chevrolet's best year. If 1970 had an LS7 and LS6 corvette, there would be some valid argument for picking 1970. As it was, 1969 wins hands down and most agree.
