On Google Earth, I was looking at a known speed trap on the Garden State Parkway, and there is my favorite trooper parked back in the bushes. When you point at his location, Google gives you a pretty accurate GPS reading. I had a thought that if we posted some of our known speed traps coordinates, maybe someone would be interested in putting them in their navigation system. Anyway, just north of exit 163 on GSP, 40' 57' 06.36N 74' 03' 55.54W

I don't have the coordinates, but GSP exit 30 (Sommers Point/ Ocean City) Just as you go through the toll booth on the roas leading to US 9 there is a sign:
25 MPH
Have You Received Your Ticket Yet?
And they mean it. Its the only place where I would use cruise control.
Well, having never been to the East Coast, I dunno about any speed traps out there.
However, on the way to Vegas, through Victorville, when the signs say 35 mph or 45 mph or whatever the speed is, they mean it. If a sign is listed as 35 mph, do 35 MPH! Not 37, not 36, but 35 MPH. The cops in that area know that most of the people are just passing through on their way to Sin City and aren't going to try to fight the tickets, so why shouldn't they stop you for speeding?
I remember driving to work on the GSP in the hammer lane doing 80mph, and having troopers come up behind me turn on their lights, because they wanted me to move over so they could pass.
