Thank you Bob. Merry christmas to you to. I did go out today and buy myself a nice tool chest to start organizing everything in so I did get one present I like the pic. You could try taking it on a tripod with a SLOW shutter speed and it might turn out better.
But he says he is budhist so the gosts will have shaved heads and chant alot.
Not really a budhist - not sure what I am. Just an easy excuse when people start pestering you about the holidays and why you are not celebrating. I started celebrating about 3 hours ago with some 42 year old single malt scotch It's got me in the 'Spirit'

You need to visit Thailand so you can get an 18 year old to help you get into the spirits.

Santa works in mysterious ways.....i have the least expensive digital camera known to man....paid like $25 dollars for it at office max just to play with the technology....and your right it really likes a tripod and lots of light.
I believe that X-mas is about giving. Santa Claus can be traced back hundreds of years to a monk named St. Nicholas, who was known for giving everything he had, and everything he could get his hands on to the less fortunate.
I also do not like how the commercialization/marketing has done with X-mas, and I have been a victom of this most of my life. It is only lately that I have started to really understand. I will quit there b/c I do not want to offend anyone. I just hate how the big companies have exploited this great tradition. Something I try to remind myself that should be done everyday, and of course I don't b/c I am selfish.
My only gift this year i wanted was to sit and watch my son open his gifts on his first Christmas, what a blast it was,ive been in the hospital for a week and almost didnt get out in time for christmas,i pleaded with them i need to be home for christmas ill come back if i have too.Seeing his wonderful smile and eyes were glowing looking at all those gifts, just made my day.Christmas is a time for giving.
I agree as a parent, true joy at Christmas time is watching your kids have a great time! Hell, I went over my ex's tonite just to watch my girls enjoy more presents.
Honestly i put having kids off for 16 years and always looked at people weird for why they got so excited over there kids, well now i know, what a feeling.

Just wondering if I am the only person out there that could care to not celebrate Christmas or Chanakah or Quanzo or whatever. I tell people I am budhist so that I do not celebrate anything this season. All I care to do on Christmas is work on the cars and hang out with the cats and watch 'A Christmas Story'.
For everyone else I hope you enjoy doing whatever you want to do this weekend.
What! Are the lift lines too long to get up to the bowls on Peak 8? No wonder you're bummed on Christmas. (A Basin maybe?)
