Just wondering if I am the only person out there that could care to not celebrate Christmas or Chanakah or Quanzo or whatever. I tell people I am budhist so that I do not celebrate anything this season. All I care to do on Christmas is work on the cars and hang out with the cats and watch 'A Christmas Story'.

For everyone else I hope you enjoy doing whatever you want to do this weekend.

i hate Christmas. it has become so exploited from what people say they "think" it is about. the truth is the whole thing is fabricated. furthermore, i am not going to buy somebody something just because walmart has it on sale for 9.99.

Alas, the world is filled with sheep...

Maybe thats why I am bummed....not a chance I could get either the Trans Am or Vette out at the moment with the amount of snow out there. Earliest I could get the cars out would be late March if I am lucky.

I will have milk and cookies out at 1 waiting for the first ghost

You should read "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham.

I guess if they come tonight they would be one night early and REAL eager to get to me. Hey Bob, I just noticed your bio and saw you got you BA at Roanoke college in 1980. I actually lived in Roanoke from 1978 through 1992 and my father still lives there. I lived in the big white house RIGHT under the star and you had to have driven by it if you ever went up to the zoo on the top of the mountain. Hope you guys enjoy your holidays.

Wasn't 'Christmas With The Cranks' based on that book? I saw the movie but have not read that book.

I have felt the same way for years, something different is happening this year. I met a little girl and her Mom while repairing a furnace in a low income apartment. There was no Christmas tree and no presents in sight (this was Wednesday) I asked the little girl (2 years old) who was coming this weekend and she had no idea. My wife and I went shopping tonight and will leave the presents by the front door. I hope the little girl has a good Christmas now, makes me feel good.

It's nice to do things that make others feel good. If more people out there did what you are planning the world might be a better place.

Merry Christmas
