Mosport is about an hour and a half away. Tell you what I'll try and organize a day out with the rest of the Ontario guys and maybe you could swing by when it takes place.
Les
What kind of lap times do you run at Mosport? I run 1:40 flat on my 500cc motorcycle.
I'll let you know if I move out there. At the end of February I may get the boot from my current situation. Maine is an option because I'd be closer to my father whom I haven't seen in 5+ years. He and I could work on his Studebaker Avanti and my Corvette together.
Cool pics Turtle. I think I see the nose of my friend's blue Z06 in one of them. I think he told me that he had FTD of the "closed wheel" cars.
I'm mad that COM lost its date at The Glen this year. Well, not so much lost as they raised the price to the point where it's not economically feasible ($5k increase in track costs). Oh well, now I'm going to have to come back east and run an NHIS event. My dad offered to trailer the Spec Miata up to Mt Tremblant if I'd meet him up there. I just might.
Thanks for representing the C3 for me since I moved. It's been a few years since I last ran my car with COM. Some people ask why the heck you're running a 30 year old POS and other give you a pat on the back for having the guts to do it. Either way, it is fun.

I look forward to seeing you at one of the events next year. What you really need to do is get a roll bar in the C3 and bring it out. You can run with the C5s in the straights. I never ran at the Glen because the date was always very close to the 4th.
I love Lime Rock, I camp there (RV) with my familt on July 4th weekend we were also there this year for the Burham 200. I've been contemplating building up a C3 to run in the Classic GT class, it'll be a track car only if I do.
Nice! Now if I move to southern Maine (more inland of Biddeford) and can get my C3 up and running, we can better represent the C3 crowd at Limerock HPDE track days.
I am currently working on a 383 stroker. My long-term goals include an overly built suspension (5-link rear, composite springs front & rear, race shocks, all the goodies) and a smallblock 427 based on an LS_ block.
Don't count out the Dart and Motown small blocks.
Way to go Turtle The Z0-6's only had 405 hp and with mods maybe 440 hp. All you need to beat them down the straights is more power. Vipers out on the track generally only have low 500 hp.
