Pattern for Flip up Lights
Hello All,
My '79 came without the flip up lights. Instead it had the fixed boxes installed with the rectangular lights and some very homemade lexan covers. I would like to have a set of lexan covers custom made and was hoping someone might have a lifesize pattern I can give to the custom shop? I can/will make a pattern on my own but I'm not sure of any tolerances I should consider (ie expansion/contraction with temperature may be different for lexan and fiberglass?) Any hints on the best way to flush mount would also be greatly appreciated.
I know the covers are available at Eckler's but I can't bring myself to swallow $280 for a couple of flat plastic slabs...
