there was an event at a dragstrip... Lake County I think ,it was on the 17th.... someone asked all the C-3 guys to be there as it was hoped it would be a regular thing and he needed a good turnout ... I dismissed it cause I knew I wouldnt be there and hate it when I know I am missing something fun ... also figured I would see another posting about right after the event ... so did it happen??? ... was it a good turnout??? ... any pics??? news??? inquiring minds wanna know ...

I hoped to be there as a spectator, my car is still down, or should I say up. It was raining in Titusville, so I did not make the trip, but was wondeing the same thing. Anybody have an update on the event and when the next race will be held?

Scott, I posted the question over on LS1Tech in the Florida member forum and was given the Lakeland website. Funny, I did a Google search but the URL did not come up. This is it:

If you scroll down the menu to WINNERS, you will see the 17th was rained out. It was raining at my location and glad I decided not to go. Now to have a raindate reschedule.

For anyone interested in this event, it appears it was rescheduled on Jan 21 from 4-9 pm.

If I could read..... it looks like it is a reschedule of Bradenton MP drags cancelled on Dec 17 and not the Lakeland Corvette drag.
