Loaded or Unloaded?
I need new calipers for the rear wheels. The online stores advertise "Loaded or Unloaded" calipers. What is the difference?

Loaded = pistons, springs, pins, clips, etc.
Unloaded = basically just the shell.

Depending on the remanufacturer, loaded will normally be ready to install out of the box. Unloaded is going to need the pads, antirattle clips, shims, pins, & anything else to be installed onto them,,
IOW, get loaded !!!

Unloaded (Bare) Caliper: Reman Caliper with Piston, less all other hardware.
Loaded Caliper: Complete reman caliper with brackets, antirattle, bleaders and friction. Bolt, Bleed and Go! Best when purchased in pairs.
And dont forget the latest beast...
Semi-Loaded: same as Loaded but less friction.
