It's a relay for something but I've never seen one on the 69's I've had.
Do you have the factory assembly manual? Is there a part number on the relay?

It looks like a horn relay. Did the horn work in the car before?

Sorry guys... It shouldn't be the horn relay. They are always in the engine bay and have more terminals.
The other relays are underneath the console..ie windshield wiper relay, and power window relay.

Maybe it's the Sphincter reflux actuator relay???

what am I looking at?? what angle? Am I looking under the dash from the drivers side? I'm thinking it was added on by a previous owner.

never mind! I see it in an earlier pic with the steering wheel in. So it would normally be hidden behind the dash, right? yah... need to check AIM.. factory alarm relay?

Hmmm,,,, I will look at the build sheet for a factory alarm. i also thought the horn relay was on one of the fenders on a 69 Yes its a original hood but not for this car. This car had a sb350 350hp. I will be cutting the hood for a blower. its getting a BB- 496 stroker.
