Default Will these work...?

Block Hugger Headers

Found these when I was looking though Street Rodder - will they work with the Patriot fake sidepipes? Will there be any problems with them hitting anything (motor mounts, steering components, etc.)?

I got a set for my 76. I'm hoping to install them this winter. I hope they work.

Hi Jason,
I looked at those last year for one of my '70 small blocks. I thought they looked good and would be perfect. When I asked about them for my Vette I was told starter clearance was a problem and that I would have to use the smaller reduction type starter.
I didn't buy them based on that info. Maybe someone here can shed a little light on weather that's true or not. I'd hate to see you get stuck with something you can't use and can't return.
Good luck,
Greg

I had no issues at all. No interference with steering, starter (stock) etc.

I've got block huggers on my '80 and have no clearance problems. Mine are chrome though (big mistake) and I'll be looking to upgrade to ceramic coated soon. Those look great!

I too was told by the manufacture that they would not fit my 79 vette.

I'm using the Hooker Stainless Block Huggers (SuperComps)
Starter support bracket interference was all I had to address.....no big deal....about a half hour to correct up.
