Default "stinger" hood

anyone have pics of this hood on a 78 vette? im looking at the one in ecklers. wondering if the vent is real or cosmetic. how well it fits, and if anyone has one for sale.

The vent is cosmetic but can be easily cut out

ive seent the pics and it looks awesome, but Ive only seen it for the "long" hoods, anyone seen this withthe short hord for my 68???

I love mine it's on an 80, it's non functional but I needed the clearance for my airgap intake and 850cfm carb I picked it up from Vanacor

would cutting out the fiberglass make it weak in any way or will it hold ok, would hate to be flying down the road and have part of the hood rip off
