Default racing seats

I know Olivier has one, any others? How did you mount them? Any pics?

I want one for racing, mainly so I fit in the car more comfortably. I sat on the floor of the car the other day and found I had plenty of leg and headroom. But I don't think my car will pass tech without a seat.

I had to make custom mounts because the Sparco adjustable mount made the seat to high and my helmet was into the T-Top.

Our Corvette floor has 4 bolt holes to mount the stock adjustable seats. I went to the metal place and bought @ three feet of 1 1/2 X 1/8 flat bar stock. I cut it in half and drilled holes where the Vettes floor bolt holes are. I actually made three sets of holes so I can move the seat forward by unbolting it. The Sparco seat has 4 bolt holes. So I drilled my flat bar stock and mounted the bar to the seat bottom. Then I just stick in the seat and simply install the four floor bolts and I'm on my way.

The rear tunnel side bolt is easily reached with a long socket extension. I just use a 3/8th butterfly air gun and have the seat in or out in a mater of seconds.
