That's one of the nicest looking '74's I've seen but $16,500 is pretty tall money for a '74 small block coupe.
Good luck,
Greg
As you know it's almost impossible to put a value on a car without putting your hands on it. If it's as nice as the pictures look I'd estimate between 9 and 12k. I know that's a pretty big spread but I'm basing it on what you can buy another nice '74 for. A convert is worth $16,500 and a big block might be worth $16,500. Together they're probably worth over $20k. But there are a lot of decent '74 small block coupes in the 9-12k range. Like I said that's one of the nicest looking '74's I've seen but it's worth what it's worth. I wish I was available to look at it with you.
Best,
Greg

If you have the $$$$ then you gotta figure all the driving and looking is worth something (your time and aggrivation). If the car drives as good as it looks then as long as you don't think you paid too much then you didin't. If you get it don't go price shopping afterward.
Every time I buy a car I just automatically figure I'm gonna have to put some money in it. That way I'm not angry when the alternator goes out or some other item needs repaired.
Do you like silver? It's close by?

I'd take the miles with a grain of salt until it's proven. Eagle ST's were not the original tires.
Looks clean as photo's go.

dont think thats a high price,if you buy a half decent car you gonna spend much more$$$$$$$$$$$ to get it to look like that one.
That is one good looking '74
Offer 12,000 ish and try to meet him around 14,000 ish. Or whatever you feel comfortable with.
Greg makes a great point about the chrome bumpers.

Seems odd to me to sell something after less than a year, but then again, people do odd things, so I dont know.
Because his barn is full, its at his work. I dont know what he does for a living, so I dont know if this is a garage with a lift or what.
Edit:
Um... The post I was replying to disappeared???
