'74 carb question ------ Lars help
Lars, I am getting ready to overhaul my '74 carburetor using standard NAPA overhaul kit specific for the acrb year. My question is, when I put the acrb back how much torque should I put on the screw and on the bolt to the manifold???? Thanks in advance ! ! !

somebody can give you the exact spec, but it should be in INCH pounds, ie not too tight!!! barely more than finger tight. The big risk is in overtightening which can either crack or warp the carb base or strip out the holes in the manifold.
