Hi guys,new to the forum.I just picked up a 79' L48 C3,decent shape so I can enjoy it while I work on it.

Welcome to the world of C3 Vettes.
There is an amazing group of talented people here with answers to literally "all" of your questions.
Last March I was a new guy here too. I have learned a lot in the last 10 months and I am sure you will too.

Welcome to the forum. My first vette was a 79 also. One I wish I had back too. Enjoy the new toy and don't be afraid to ask questions. Lots of folks here so someone has been there and done that.

I've had my 79 for almost a year now. My advice: Do a search here before you do anything to your vette more complicated than setting the presets on your radio. If you don't find anything, start a post, then dig in. Pictures help a lot!

Nice vette very clean. I like the rally's don't change them.
Ask a ton of questions before you start buying replacement parts many things can be fixed not replaced, and not all parts need to be highend aluminum ex water pump from Napa $45. water pump from Corvette vendor $125. its that way will most parts. GL Jim
