Welcome to the forum. My first vette was a 79 also. One I wish I had back too. Enjoy the new toy and don't be afraid to ask questions. Lots of folks here so someone has been there and done that.
prepare yourself for the fountain of knowledge you have uncorked....my '79 is a work in progress also.i drive it only on weekends, in good weather..good luck with yours and dont be shy when you need help or answers... jim
I've had my 79 for almost a year now. My advice: Do a search here before you do anything to your vette more complicated than setting the presets on your radio. If you don't find anything, start a post, then dig in. Pictures help a lot!
Nice vette very clean. I like the rally's don't change them.
Ask a ton of questions before you start buying replacement parts many things can be fixed not replaced, and not all parts need to be highend aluminum ex water pump from Napa $45. water pump from Corvette vendor $125. its that way will most parts. GL Jim
