Default About to call Jasper....

So I am about to call Jasper and order my engine (class II 383, turnkey) and a) I am nervous about dropping this amount of cash and b) that I am forgetting something.

Here is my list of things I want to confirm, etc...Would appreciate some feedback good or bad or anything I forgot:

1. Bolts to TH400 - Check
2. TH400 has electronic tramnsmission kick-down so nothing needed onthe engine - check
3. Flexplate - Need to verify whether or not it comes with one. If not I plan on ordering this one:
Flexplate on Jegs
4. Hood fitment - Need a low rise intake...Going with the performer intake which should fit, right???? Otherwise I am going to need a drop base aircleaner?
Drop Base Air Cleaner
5. Torque Converter - 2400 Stall...Here is the one I plan on ordering
TC on Jegs
6. Shop / Delivery - Got address for shop and they have worked with Jegs many, many times.
7. Need to verify the heads being used have straight spark plugs as the headers I have (jet hot coated hooker comps) won't fit with angled plugs - Check
8. Core Charge - Need to ask if there is one or not?
9. Alternator output is 60amps in package. Can I up that? Or what style is it? May just skip on theirs and use the upped one I have.
10. Starter - Would like to put ina new starter while I am at it so I am planning on ordering the following starter and wiring kit from Jegs
Starter on Jegs
Diode kit on Jegs

Anything else I am missing or need to consider?
If I have everything covered and my purchases seem sound choices, votes of confidence would also be appreciated.
Thanks
Shane

Jasper has a core charge on most engines unless specifically stated. Wait till you get it mostly installed (they give you a couple of weeks), you will have to swap a bunch of stuff over from the old to the new. Put the return back in the plastic shipping case and they pick it up. If you don't send back a similar block they charge you for the difference.

You may need the drop base air cleaner base anyway. My 76 has one - but I don't know if it is stock or not. But I wouldn't call that a show stopper in any way. My neighbor has a Jasper 350 in his 69 chevy truck and has no complaints, I think your on the right track.

Pretty sure I have about half of those thought about and confirmed previously but I will go through all of them again.
Thanks

Peace of mind. Not that GM does not make quality parts but I have heard from many many many people on both the quality of their products, their high-level of customer support, etc etc.. From the mechanic down the road who has done tons and tons of swaps and had nothing bad to say to the friend of the family who uses them exclusively for his boat to my old Director who bought an engine for his old bronco and also had nothing but great things to say...
