I am also struggling with what to do with my tank sticker. My tank is solid rust on the inside, so I am replacing it. I had thought about sticking a copy on my new tank. Also thought about cutting tank to preserve my sticker. I would then frame the sticker and piece of metal tank under glass. Pshhh... All this talk of 'devaluing' the car. You'd think some people actually plan on SELLING their car. What are they thinking...? A Vette is a life partner.

If you do take it off the tank the link below will tell you how to keep it stored. A lot of vet owners (myself included) make the mistake of using clear adhesive to remove it which is permanently attached to the sticker and slowly distroys it. This link should help. I don't think it hurts the value. Buyers like to see these things in hand when making a decision to buy.

Good luck.
