If I had my choice and price was no object and I wasn't paying for it, I'd pick, and I'm not sure this is the name, BUT it's a white Mother of Pearl. Or an Oyster Mother of Pearl.
I saw a '62 painted that color when I was in college and fell in love with it. Don't see many around. My second choice, $$ no object would be candy apple red.....both of the above would incorporate a Baldwin-Motion type racing stripe.
This is just what was done to mine. It,s not for a factory correct restoration. I have custom paint, a mix of black, purple and pearl.. the Vette looks black at first untill youre closer.hood was done also..I recently bought this one from another forum member and am estatic about reactions from locals here. This is just mine and in no way i suggest it,s for anyone else. All Vetts look good to me.

if you're considering a pearl white, look into the nissan pearl white
dont start with the "*** crap" please, I'm just making a suggestion from a painters perspective. the nissan p/w is the cleanest looking and whitest looking pearl whites out there. If you look at the caddy or lincoln whites, theyre all cloudy and have a hint of sand in it
