Default Car Capsule

If you have one how do you like it. I have a 81 that I am finishing everything has been painted or powder coated. I do not want steering part to rust while it sits in the garage. Will the capsule keep moisture out? My wife part her car on the other side and in the winter the snow melts and the water runs under the Corvette. I have the floor painted with U coat it it is checkerboard with a black and red border but that does stop condensation on top of the floor.

Any advise appreciated.

You did not say if you garage is heated. I would not worry about the water from your wifes car. Moisture will condensate when the metal parts are cold and you get warm/humidity air. Similar to parking you car outside over night. The capsule might equalize the temp and help but I think it's kind of pricey. The heater would also equalize the temps.
BTW Driving in the rain is going to get the components wet also.

Just my .02

Garage is heated, but I only use the heat, when working on the car.

You would need to put a dehumidifier inside the capsule. Or just put a dehumidifier in the garage.

But rust never sleeps...so I guess you'll never sleep!!!

Here ya go.

I guess I must like em. I use them for long term storage, December to about April. They can be a pain if you want to do something quick on the Vette but they do keep things spotless. I store the Vettes with windows open so air can flow throughout. No mildew inside. Small 12volt fan runs continuously, ya leave zipper open about 12" to get air flowing THROUGH it, not just into it. Early spring, when it starts to get rainy and humid out is the best use for them. I'm sure many of you have seen your cars dripping wet when it's cold and humid out. The capsule keeps the moisture on the outside of the bubble. It can get wet INside if it's really damp out, but the water stays on the floor. That's why I started putting 2X4s under the bottom mats. To get an air space. It helps. Supposedly, the constant airflow keeps moisture off the car. I bought them one at a time over the years as I needed to. Very durable. Cheaper than running the heat all winter! I did decide to NOT get another one for the white one.
Mike

P.S. the boat and covered Vette next to it ain't mine!
