Default Which plasma cutter?

I am in the market for a plasma cutter for the shop. I will be working on smaller stuff (1/2" or less thick). Everyone's input on what you're using now is especially helpful. Also if anyone has one for sale PM me or e-mail me.

Thanks,

I have a Weiler model 380 made by Lincoln/Miller. I find it cheaper than running a cutting torch and does nice clean cuts without all the heat warpage a torch does.

Get a Hobart, Miller, ESAB, or Lincolin. I have a Hobart 400 and am looking at a Miller 1000.

If you are doing home stuff 110/220 is tha way to go. Production work a 220/480 unit would make more sense.

If you want to do good looking Hand stuff get the guides and standoff trolley

Or do what we did... CNC it.

I have a Miller Spectrum 375 cutmate. I love it. Bought it from one of the big dealers on eBay.

Thanks for the info guys, while looking I found a couple of muti purpose machines. Plasma Arc, TIG and Stick weld. May try one of these out if so, I'll post my results.
