Well I finally got 2 good wheels and had to paint them to match the front. Nothing like scuffing up 600 dollars worth of wheels. They came out pretty good. Now it is off to get the tires mounted and see how they go on the car.
How come you didn't buy them with the grey spokes? CL205 are TT2's with grey powdercoated spokes.
If I had ordered them all from the start I would have. I bought the 17X8s already painted and the yare a little different than the ones you stated. Mine are just the spokes painted. The CL205s have the first part of the rim painted. Minor difference but I wanted them to match the front. Probably slightly different color also.

Looks good. Could you give us some specifics on the process, the color, etc. I really like the look.
I just picked up the mounted tires now. They look pretty big. The tire is only slightly wider than the rim. I'll have to put one on and see how it looks now. I do not have a rear spring in or any weight in the car so it probably won't look right. No motor or trans but I'll try and get some kind of picture of it.
Gordon, not to knock Paul's wheels, but I really like just the spokes painted. Nice touch. Hope the paint lasts a few years before it flakes. Did you scuff them by hand, or mask & blast. Bet hand was a PITA.

I scuffed them by hand with Green Scotch Brite pads. I then taped them, over 1 hour per wheel then sprayed them. I just used Eastwoods Spray Gray. I can't take all the credit on this. I bought the 17X8s from lvrpool32 a year ago like this and just tried to duplicate this on the 18s.
