Default what causes this?

i'm going to look at this vette tomorrow, and i noticed something odd.
look at the back wheels. i don't think it is because of the way the car is sitting, it looks almost like the front wheels may look like if you need some ball joints.
i'll get a better look at it tomorrow, but what do you think it is, and what causes it?
any ideas?

thanks

This could also be from jacking the rear end up - setting it
down and not rolling the car. After setting down, you need to
roll the car back and forth a few times to get the rear camber to settle back in.
I would never post a picture like this in an Ebay ad, unless
I had no idea how to spell Edelbrock.

New adjustable strut rods: $100
Paying someone to install them after running into rusty trouble: $200 +
Knowing it's fixed .... well about $100 to $300 according to my math.

That frame and birdcage needs inspecting before laying any bids down.

... but hey - it does have "swade" seats.

There are lots of questions on that auction, he mentions "carbs" it only has one on it, and you would think if he had Edelbrock parts on the engine he could at least spell it. Look it over very carefully and then bid if it still looks good.

OK - looking further:
seller states AC works good - could use recharge.
Truth: AC compressor MISSING !!!

seller states no accidents
Truth: Giant cracks in rear quarter lip.

seller states "ELDERBROCK" engine
Truth: likely just cheap Edelbrock valve covers (OK - has intake, too)

seller states it's a great vette
Truth: Probably not worth too much more than the current bid.

I would look very closely at this car...The interior is faded, horn button missing, engine needs help I already see a wire splice by the thermostat. On top of all that this guy can't spell for crap.
He may say its perfect but I see some problems just from the photos. Make sure you get it up on a hoist to check the frame and all other items.

Good luck DB

That car is a pile of dog-crap. Don't "waist" your time.

What is your budget? I know you've been looking for awhile...if I knew your "budgit" I can find you a car.

Do you regularly check the "C3's For Sale" on this forum? That's the best place to start.

Most importantly...don't make the same "misteak" I did...be patient!

Yah - I bought one off of e-bay - the car was badly misrepresented. The seller did not want to take it back, until I informed him that I was making a complaint to the internet fraud complaint center of the FBI. I got my money back, then I bought a Corvette that I had fully inspected first - and definitely NOT from e-bay. Unfortunately e-bay is ripe with fraud and con-artists. Be safe, shop your car in person, and from someone who can spell. Elderbrock - is that an older gentelman's carburetor????

Where can I pick up this rare part? MSD IGNTION,COYLE

I dont know. The car looks like it may have some problems. I mean, if the person says the AC blows cold, but yet it does not have an A/C unit installed, then what else is he blowing wind about.

Buy now price $5250 , high. But it might be worth around $3500. You guys might be a little too critical on this one. Could be a fun daily driver. I would not believe what was represented and I would check it out for myself. Hope all my spelling is correct.
