Default engine block ID

I just picked up a 73 vert project, can someone hlp me ID the engine?
The casting # is 6956618 and the pad stamp is K0131FB

The casting number is probably 3956698, check again.

If so, it's a '69 350 cu. in with turbohydramatric trans. 300hp 4 bbl from and A,F or X series car.

It was built by McKinnon Industries in St. Catheries, Ontario Canada on January 31.

Corvette used the castin#3956618 in the mid production on some cars in 1969, but they did not use FB on the pad. I have a 1969 327 engine
in my garage with cast.#3956618 and the stamp K0521FB.The 05 is for month, 21 for the day. If iam not wrong, i think FB is for Chevelle or Nova.

So its a 327 then? The guy I got it from thought it was a 327/365hp
Does that seem right for a 69?

I dont know what your engine is.The cast#3956618 was for both 302 ,327 and 350.
68-69 passenger, Chevelle, camaro, Nova 327
69 Camaro Z28 302, 4 bolt main
69 Corvette 350, 4 bolt main
69-74 pass, Chevelle, Camaro,Nova and Monte Carlo 350,
69-76 truck.

I think i found it; your engine is a 1969 327 2 bolt.
K= engine plant St.Catherines, Ontario
01= January
31= day number 31
FB= 327 2 bolt w/powerglide fullsize 235 horse power.
