Default Baaaaaa!

OK, I admit it - I'm one of the sheep that loves the look of TTII's so I fell in with the herd. Sure there's a million of them, but there's a reason for it. They just look sooo good on these C3's.

Before:

After:

She's all new underneath now with VB&P suspension kit which includes springs, Bilstein shocks, sway bars, bushings. It handles and rides like it's 71 again!

I got the wheels and tires from Tire Rack. 17X8 with 3.5 b.s. Summitumo HTZ 245/45-17's all the way around.

Looks great! Like you said, there's a good reason TT II's are so popular on C3s.

I corrected my original post - the backspacing is at 3.5". They fit within the fender opening, not flush or sitcking out. I'll post a pic later tonight.

As for the WW look, I like it OK as it gives it sort of a 70's look, but so do the TTII's. A change of wheels is like changing shoes - nothing wrong with a different look from time to time. The change is different enough it's almost like getting a different car.
