I'm looking at doing the same, but it looks like Corbeau seats are about the only ones that even say they'll fit a C3. They also have adapters for the seats to fit in a C3. That said, i still have not found anyone who has done it. Before buying anything, measure the space you have in the car (w/ the door closed) and check the dimensions of the seat you want. If you do this, please post how it went.

Just found this:http://www.speeddirect.com/index.aspx?nodeID=8

"Corbeau Seat Conversions For 77-82 Corvettes
Speed Direct now offers a BOLT-ON seat conversion kits using Corbeau racing seats for 1977-1982 Corvettes (68-76 brackets are currently under development. We will be posting that as soon as they are available!) Now you can be securely held in place with custom bucket seats instead of being tossed around in your worn-out factory seats. Even new or reupholstered factory replacement seats are flat and offer very little support when cornering. One of the most unique features with this kit is that it offers custom shaved seats with significantly lowered mounting brackets and sliders to allow drivers up to 6’ tall comfortably ride without rubbing your head on the roof! Other brackets that supposedly “fit” set the driver up much higher in the vehicle than the factory seats did, creating an awkward riding position."

There's a few of us here who have them. Here's what my installation looks like. I really like the results, especially compared to the old ones.

Great info and web site of your vette!

The A4 seats are 18.5" wide at the front, do you think is enough room to put the GTS II in, it measures 20.5" at the front.?
