Default Waiting on UPS

My weekend plans all hinge on that brown truck coming up my driveway.

That is a good idea but I prefer to wait by the window like a kid at Christmas

When I did my resto a few years back, after the project came to an end, I found myself missing those deliveries; It was almost addictive having all those cool parts arriving on my door step. Even now I still need to sneak a fix.

Brown brought our Dell just a couple days ago. Next week Brown will bring my rotating assembly for my new 383. Week after that will be my new cam. Following week my new Air-gap. Yep, I definitely feel the addiction settling back in......

Yep, seeing that UPS or FedEx truck up is just like Christmas.

When I first started getting UPS/FedEx packages it could be a problem if they tried to deliver and I wasn't at home. Now, if I'm not at home, they just drop the package at the front door. That's really convenient. I guess they've got to know me. I do live in a low crime neighborhood (rare for the LA area). So far the most valuable package just left unattended at my front door was a complete set of front and back aluminum brake calipers from Stainless Steel Brake Corporation (~$1500).

I'm waiting on my new Mac Book Pro, with the Intel processor. Fed Ex, I guess that would be a white truck. Way more fun to wait for car parts.

Default Got my goodies delivered earlier in the week

New Hurst Comp Plus Shifter, AGR Performance Power Steering Pump, and Steeroids Clutch Pedal Rod set-up. Timing was right on 2 out of 3, 1 came while the wife was home but that was ok she got a UPS shipment the same day so they cancelled out, we're even or so she thinks

Dell...

When you work on computers for a living you learn to hate those A LOT.

I'm never home when UPS or Fedex deliver... luckily I've got someone else home to grab it for me

I've built all my own computers for the last 10 years. I'll never buy another prebuilt machine again.
