Default Magnaflow exhaust ???

I am considering magnaflow exhaust, dual pipes, and 1 5/8 hedman elite headers for an exhaust system. Was curious if anybody had sound clips of magnaflow exhaust on their vettes.

Don't have a clip but very happy with mine. Initially I wanted to be herd without annoying anybody,, this was very important because the cops in this region do not tollerate straight pipes in cars or bikes. I regularly get positive response on the sound.

Hedmen Headers and Magnaflows... that what I got. I am very happy with them. God rumble at Idle. No annoying resonace at cruise. At WOT they sound great. I have had mine for about 1200 miles and they sound better today then when they first went on.

ust today I finished installing my magnaflow muffler system 2 1/2in pipes from corvette central on my77 small block with the standard rams horn exhaust manifolds and they sound great. relatively quiet at idle but sound good at speed. Magnaflow has a web site where you can listen to different exhaust systems. They dont have any c-3's but if you know which muffler you want you can hear the sound clips.

In idle its a little more aggresive than say super turbos,, but such a lovely thump, thump...lolll I have no problems listning to music in trafic at low speeds,, at crusing with the tops off, the wind is more annoying than the mufflers. Of corse when you step on the gas,, you announce your presence,,loll
Mufflers a such a personal thing,, if I can give you a good tip; purchase them through your local muffler shop, they usually will give you a couple days trial and replace them if your not satisfied. My cousin has super turbos in his camero and that would be my first choice for a daily driver. Its more difficult choosing a muffler than a cam.... cheers

Have a new problem now, i think the ls1 bug may have bitten me , so i think i'm just going to give into temptation and get one (maybe next winter). Would the exhaust manifolds on an ls1, with duals, and magnaflow mufflers sound pretty good? I'm still a newbie to corvettes so, let me know what you guys think.
