After completing the engine swap in my '81, I now have some issues. The computer was completely removed since I went with a GM crate, new carb and such. However, for some reason the battery drains completely overnight.
The clock would stay on while the ignition was off, so I removed the radio fuse, but that didnt seem to help. After I charge the batter and hook the batter back up, the display on the clock comes on for a brief second. Wouldnt removing the fuse prevent it from even coming on?
Ideas? THANKS!
sounds like something is crossed up in the ignition/acc section of the electrics. This is where a good electrical diagram would help. Disconnect at the term block back by the battery where all the system splits and start there.
