Default Brake time!!!

The new brakes finally arrived!!! I must say I'm more than pleased with the quality so far, I hope they will perform as well as they look.

The Superlites and Dynalites are unbeliveable light, those stock cast iron calipers are a thing of the past for me now.

Will post full report on the install once I get down to it.

Here's two more:

Love the 2pc rotor/hub ...did you get those for the front and rear? If so, can you share the dimensions you used to order (hat offset and all) I'm in need of some of those also

Trying to calm down, my heart must still be beating 1000000000/minute. But it's worth it, we are through to the final against Sweden!

What was your question again?

PM or email me what you need and I'll get it for you next week.

Wilwoods are great. I've been driving with my new wilwoods for the last few days and they have been superb. Much better pedal feel, no slop. For the first time I actually have confidence in the brakes! I went with the 4-piston superlites up front and dynalites in the rear.

I watched the Swedes take on the Check Republic. They played almost too well together as a team. I'm happy just to see us in the Final, who would have thought we'd make it this far with this team. Best of luck for tomorrow

It should be, I have all the CNC machined brackets, bolts, nuts, spacers etc with willwood prop. valve and ss lines ready to go on. Sure looks simple enough in the instructions. We'll see!

Still have the stock offset all around, even the stock handbrake set up is designed to work with this kit.

If I can order the hats somewhere I don't need the measurements, don't care for the parking brake caliper but if it's there it won't matter.

Wow those are some nice pieces Jay. It seems like you always get some really cool stuff to put on your vettes.

TT are you saying the caliper functions as the parking brake instead of the crappy stock mini brake drum, with some of the aftermarket brakes?

Looks very nice Groovyjay!

I can't compete with PB on hats and rotors, they add up quick!

Are you using the stock MC? Hydorboost? I'd like to see what you think of the pedal feel. I had those calipers with manual brakes and I thought the pedal was too hard.

TT
Wilwood DOES make a hat for the C3, they don't advertise it and I haven't seen anyone use it ( yet )

Part number is, 170-0176, 8 bolts on a 7.62" bolt circle, it even has the correct center hole size.
