BBC oil filter adapter????????
I have managed to loose my oil filter adapter for my BB. My question is will a SB adapter fit the BB and if not does anyone know were to buy one. I have checked with the chevy dealer but the parts man had no clue, said no longer available. Right know I have a call into the GMC parts man (a friend) who is looking to see if he can come up with one. I also have a call into the local junkyard to see if they may have one, should here from them tomorrow.

Just got a call back from my buddy at the GMC dealer still sell them $28 also said that they are the same for SB and BB.

Yes they are the same..small or bigblock. Just find any machine shop or repair shop for American cars..they are bound to have one laying around for $5.
After that Summit sells them with and without bypasses.

Local machine shop gave me one, of course I had just spent over $2k on machine work & parts with him. SBC & BBC are the same but you will need to get the correct bolts from the dealer. They have a small head to prevent interference with the filter.
