fun afternoon
Here in the tennessee valley where I live it's 71 degrees the sun is shining at 5:45pm. wife wanted to do something different this afternoon (we both are retired) so we did. We bought the '69 conv. 4 speed in september last year and I wanted her to drive it cause she is one of the reasions we have the car. She got her drivers license in germany while i was stationed there in the mid '60s in a sptifire 4 speed but hasn'd driven a 4 speed car much since. automatics were all she had to drive left foot braking is what she was used to. so i warmed the car up and took it out in our subdivision where there is no traffic and i put her in the drivers seat. we had a blast. the first thing that happened when she had to brake for a turn guess what she used to brake left foot had to tell her to use the rt foot for braking. after that every thing was all right. guess it's like riding a bicycle once you learn you don't forget it.
