Default Crashed ZO6

"Just this afternoon in Buckingham, 1600hrs
A black Z06 with PA plate Zxx-xxx rolled and ended up on my buddies mailbox.

Anyone recognize this car by the tag#??

I would not have even posted this without knowing this next part.

The driver nor the passenger were NOT even hurt.

Also, from what I've heard, the driver was an unlicensed 16 year old female driving her dad's car.........

The car appears to be totalled.......

A few pictures IF you care to see.
Again, NOBODY WAS HURT IN THIS INCIDENT, Hard to believe but true." originally posted on CCDV by Glennm

Man I hate seeing that. When I had my Z, I know I pushed the envelope a time or two. Glad nobody was hurt.

The insurance company should pay unless they had him sign an addendum of some sort specifying that no one under a certain age can drive the car. I had to sign one for my vette using classic car insurance. I remember that my dad had the same restriction with his old Rolls Royce. When I was 16 or 17 I tried to convince my dad to let me take the 55 Rolls to prom. He replied no way and even if he could insurance would not cover the car.

She is unlicensed?? If daddy gave permission...no coverage. If she took the car without Daddy knowing and daddy has a broad form policy....should be covered....but they will go after the 16 year old for repayment. If daddy didn't have a broad form policy and she took it without permission....no coverage. If she didn't live with daddy and she took his car...it is covered but daddy will have to charge her with theft.

My opinion is there won't be any coverage.

Leaving the keys to your vette lying around w/teenagers is like leaving a loaded gun in the house.

I use the quick disconnect on my battery when ever I'm not using my vette. I have a teenage son w/a lot of friends who like my vette way too much. Those kids & that dad should be thanking the big guy for letting them walk away from that one. Says alot about the Z06 to.
