Just wondering which to use when installing my new padding and carpet, I figured I'd go with 3M Heay-Duty spray but I'd appreciate other opinions.

When I did my carpet two years ago I was going to use the 3m also, at a cost of about $10 a can. But instead, I found some floral adhesive at the local craft store, and the chemical composition was exactly the same at half the price. It worked perfectly.

As was said in another thread about three days ago...DON'T glue the carpet down!!! It just makes it a PITA to take out later if you need to fix anything. The seats, console, kick panels and under-door trim do a great job of pinning the carpet in place.

I recarpeted my 91 a couple of years ago. Not a drop of glue except the pieces on the doors.....

Thanks for the advice, I'll just need to use the adhesive for the new side console panels and seatback pieces then.

The side console panels just screw into place.
