thinking about powder coating verse painting....
engine bay parts...powder or paint
suspension...powder or paint
bolts/nuts....powder or paint
motor parts/intake/carb....powder/paint
if i was to do it, i would do it all at once....can't really decide what would be better for each

While powder coating is tough,its not bullit proof,chemicals eat it just like wet paint.To me the only advantage is its convient,drop it off,pick it up.Another advantage is to use it as a base to fill a pitted surface.

I have a Fjord Model A Zenith carb that I coated inside and out with Harbor Freight plastic powder (I think it's polyester) - the gas doesn't bother it a bit. The only way I've ever hurt powder coating is by impact or sandblasting, and that takes a lot of work.

i'm gonna get new pulleys and brackets but since i have it all apart mine as well get it done.......... i was thinking some of the suspensions too...... maybe a dark candy green scheme
