0% rain chance, low 70's in the AM, 82 in the afternoon and sunny and a Friday to boot! I finally said what the heck and made my commute to and from work a little more fun and drove my baby in. Got a nice end spot in front of the outside lounge area (where the security guard conveniently hangs out as well) and am counting the minutes until it's time to leave.
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, but one thing is for sure...I never really noticed how small Vettes are until I saw mine parked next to a couple of regular 4 door sedans and SUV's!!
Well, made it home under gorgeous weather (after spending about 20 minutes showing the car to colleagues in the parking lot), but wouldn't you figure that a) I hit major stop and go traffic and b) didn't see a single Vette out on the road. When I'm not in the Vette, I always see at least a handful of C5's and C6's and actually two other early C3's that live in the area. Oh well, at least it was a fun commute.
Most interesting pary though was having a passenger in this one car snapping a boat load of photos with a pretty expensive looking camera each time they passed me by in the stop and go on the highway. Maybe I'll show up on a magazine cover?!?

i hate you... tomarrows weather forcast is upper 50s with a chance of thunderstorms. starting next week, the weather drops back down into the upper 30s lower 40s.
i noticed how small a vette is to a full size suv after almost being run over, multiple times. seems that if they cant see it in there mirror (assumeing they actually use it) it doesnt exsist. you would think the very loud, very green car driveing next to them would be pretty hard to miss.

Sorry to hear that, but if it's any consolation, in a couple of months, we start our lovely version of your winter - thunderstorms daily after the lunch hour and of course enough blistering heat and humidity to peel the paint off the car! Needless to say, not that many great opportunities to rip off the tops and tote around in a non A/C classic!
