Default 71 project car

When I talked to the owner, he said for the 10K he would have it running and driving and address the brakes. He said the same thing to me that he would let the car rot rather than dropping the price. Well three months later he still has the car and I guess it will rot because it has been outside for the past 9 months on his lot. My thoughts are that if you aren't going to do anything with the car make a deal with someone who will. As stated before, the car was bought at an estate sale so its not like it has sentimental value

I stick with my original estimate of 7k. If your going to keep it long term, it could be a nice project. The originality and #s match engine are a plus for long term value as long as the block and heads are okay. This is a car for someone that wants a big project and doesn't mind spending more than the car is worth to complete it, and someone will do it. But, if your not into big projects, you could find a nice #2 oe #3 (4 speed) car for the same amount or less than you'll have invested in completing this one.
