Just purchased my 2nd 80 tonignt. This one is a 4 speed, Black in Black with solar T tops. Were there options on the 4 speed or were they all the same in 80? Anyone know what type tranny it has and what the ratios are? My first is an auto with 3:08 gears and this one "Hauls ***"! Did I mention it has a 4 speed?

From my notes......
Assuming that it has the original tranny:
The '80-'81 four speed was a Borg Warner Super T10.
Ratios: 2.88, 1.91, 1.33, 1.00, (R)2.78
RPO was "M18"
There were only about 3500 4 speeds built for the 1980 model year.
5,726 4spd cars for 1980, 5,757 4spd cars built for 1981. I had for 7yrs a neat Yellow '80, L-48 4spd with Oyster interior-a pretty rare & unique combo. Was a great car. Sold it to purchase my 42K mile Silver '68 coupe back in May of '03.

Thanks for the correction. I knew it was around 5700, I don't know why the number 3500 popped into my head. Must be old age setting in.
