Cores are worth what you can get, but in the $50-150 range depending on how much you trust that it is actually in "good working condition". If it is from some musclecar and not a truck it may be worth a bit more as a year-correct part to somebody.

Not original to the car then. So it could have come out of a 350 Impala or a Truck. Worth more to some if from a Corvette, Chevelle, Camaro. A good buildable TH400 core is worth $75 as a starting place I'd think.
here in the midwest most trans have a shifter cable. Gary
